Ideas for the laboratory Experience, knowhow and enthusiasm for technology, were three major conditions that made the graduate engineer Klaus-Peter Reitel found the company Reitel Feinwerktechnik together with his wife Anita in 1985.
The company’s goal is the development, design and production of high-quality devices for laboratories which offer sophisticated functionality and an ergonomic design, in short: devices for professionals.
In April 1985, the first five machines were presented to an interested professional public at the International Dental Show IDS. The idea of producing devices in a stainless-steel design was enthusiastically accepted by the visitors as the trademark of the company, thus it gained global recognition with its typical product line. With more than 50 different types of laboratory devices in approximately 60 countries worldwide, the company Reitel Feinwerktechnik is one of the leading experts in the dental industry today. In addition, further special products for mechanical engineers, jewelers and conservators are distributed.
In 2008, the son, graduated industrial engineer Daniel Reitel, led the family enterprise with its approximately 40 employees into the second generation. He had gained experience in outside companies at home and abroad as well as in his father’s enterprise as a project leader for several years. Today, he is leading the company as the General Manager. Under his lead, digital technology and CAD/CAM were incorporated. For the future, you may expect a top production knowhow, continuous innovation and the new zeitgeist to be pursued by us.
