Casting is the moment in which weeks of skilled preparation are decided in seconds. REITEL's casting devices are designed to make this moment as precise and reproducible as possible. Whether inductive or flame-based — the RETOCAST I, the RETOCAST T, and the INDURET MINI cover the full spectrum of dental and commercial casting processes, reliably processing both precious metal and base metal alloys.

The proven centrifugal arm technology ensures that the molten metal penetrates evenly and completely into the finest cavities of the casting flask. Clear control panels, electronic timers, and a large viewing window for casting monitoring make operation safe and comfortable. All devices are manufactured in robust stainless steel housings and designed for daily laboratory use.

Precision through Induction and Centrifugal Technology

The RETOCAST I melts inductively with continuously variable power control, allowing the device to adapt optimally to different alloys. The RETOCAST T relies on proven flame melting via a gas burner, making it particularly flexible in use. The INDURET MINI combines inductive melting under vacuum with pressure casting, enabling porosity-free structures and oxidation-reduced surfaces through optional argon purging. Three devices, one standard: reproducibly clean castings of the highest quality.

The right solution for every need

Dental Laboratory

In the dental laboratory, metal casting remains an indispensable part of the process chain despite the growing share of CAD/CAM. Crowns, bridges, removable partial denture frameworks, and individual components continue to be manufactured using centrifugal or pressure casting when the highest fit accuracy and material strength are required. REITEL's casting devices are designed for all common flask sizes from 1 to 9 as well as for partial denture casting, and process both precious metal and base metal alloys. The three adjustable acceleration speeds ensure optimal metal flow for every alloy and prevent metal loss caused by premature or delayed centrifugation.

Jewelry

In jewelry manufacturing, the casting process determines the detail accuracy, surface quality, and material density of the finished piece. REITEL's casting devices are tailored to the specific requirements of precious metal processing and reliably handle gold, silver, platinum, and base metal alloys in a reproducible manner. The INDURET MINI enables porosity-free structures through inductive melting under vacuum followed by pressure build-up — making a real difference particularly with the most filigree jewelry forms and thin wall thicknesses. The integrated temperature display simplifies the identification of the optimal casting moment and protects sensitive alloys from overheating.

FAQ – Casting Units from REITEL

Which casting devices does REITEL offer and how do they differ fundamentally?
REITEL offers three casting devices: the RETOCAST I as an induction centrifugal caster, the RETOCAST T as a flame centrifugal caster, and the INDURET MINI as an induction pressure casting device. While the RETOCAST I and RETOCAST T use proven centrifugal arm technology, the INDURET MINI relies on vacuum and pressure build-up for a particularly dense, porosity-free casting structure.
Which alloys and flask sizes are the devices suitable for?
All three devices process both precious metal and base metal alloys and are designed for flask sizes 1 to 9 as well as for partial denture casting. The maximum casting quantity for the RETOCAST I and INDURET MINI is 110 g for precious metal and 55 g for base metal; for the RETOCAST T it is up to 130 g precious metal and 60 g base metal.
What is the advantage of inductive melting over flame melting?
The inductive melting of the RETOCAST I and INDURET MINI enables continuously variable, uniform heating of the material without direct flame contact. This is gentler on sensitive alloys, reduces oxidation, and ensures reproducible melting results. The RETOCAST T with flame melting, on the other hand, offers greater flexibility when using different gas sources and requires no external power connection for the melting process.
What distinguishes the INDURET MINI from the centrifugal casting devices?
The INDURET MINI does not use centrifugal force; instead, it melts the material inductively under vacuum and then consolidates the casting through pressure build-up using compressed air or argon. The result is a particularly dense, porosity-free casting structure. In addition, the argon purging enables an oxidation-reduced surface, which is especially advantageous for high-quality precious metals and filigree forms.
Do the devices require a compressed air connection?
The RETOCAST I and the INDURET MINI require a compressed air connection at 6 bar. The RETOCAST T operates without compressed air, as casting here is achieved solely through the centrifugal force of the casting arm. For the INDURET MINI, there is also the option of using argon instead of compressed air to create an even more oxidation-reduced melting atmosphere.
What accessories are required for operation?
For the RETOCAST T, a melting kit for natural gas/oxygen or propane/oxygen is required depending on the gas supply. For the RETOCAST I and INDURET MINI, graphite and ceramic crucibles are available and selected according to the alloy being used. A recirculating cooler is also available for both induction devices, reliably cooling the melting generator during high casting frequency.
