The right solution for every need

Dental Laboratory

In dental technology, a residue-free surface is the prerequisite for precise-fitting work. The cleaning devices effectively remove polishing pastes, wax residues, and investment material remnants from crowns, bridges, and models. Particularly with complex geometries or filigree telescopic restorations, the deep-penetrating action ensures that no particles remain even in the finest gaps that could compromise the fit or aesthetics.

Dental Practice

In the practice, the focus is on fast and hygienic processing. The devices are used for pre-cleaning instruments and burs to safely remove organic residues prior to sterilization. Another important area of application is the professional cleaning of patient prostheses and splints. Deposits such as tartar or discoloration are removed in a short time, directly improving treatment quality and patient service on-site.

Jewelry

For goldsmiths and jewelers, the complete removal of grinding and polishing agents is essential for the final brilliance of a piece of jewelry. The cleaning agents effortlessly reach deep engravings, complex settings, and the areas beneath set stones. Since the cleaning process is gentle on materials, the surface quality of precious metals is preserved while oxidation layers and everyday dirt are thoroughly eliminated.

FAQ – Cleaning Units from REITEL

Which cleaning fluids may be used?
For optimal results, concentrates specifically matched to the process should be used. These promote cavitation during ultrasonic cleaning or support the loosening of deposits during mechanical cleaning. Acidic solutions or flammable liquids must not be poured directly into the stainless steel tanks to avoid material damage.
Why is the heating function important for cleaning?
Heat accelerates the chemical reaction of cleaning agents and reduces the viscosity of contaminants such as oils, greases, or waxes. A temperature between 40 °C and 60 °C significantly improves cleaning performance. For temperature-sensitive objects, such as certain plastics, cleaning can also be carried out without heating.
How often should the cleaning fluid be changed?
This depends largely on the degree of soiling of the objects being cleaned. As soon as the fluid appears visibly cloudy or cleaning performance decreases, the bath should be renewed. Residues at the bottom of the tank can dampen the efficiency of the sound waves and should therefore be rinsed out regularly.
Can different small parts be cleaned simultaneously?
Yes, the use of insert baskets or special perforated lids with beakers allows simultaneous cleaning of various parts. By using beakers, different cleaning solutions can even be used in a single cycle without mixing.
How are sensitive surfaces protected from damage?
To prevent scratches or material abrasion, objects should never rest directly on the bottom of the cleaning tank. Using baskets or holders ensures that the vibrations can flow freely around the object, protecting both the tank and the workpiece.
What should be considered when cleaning worn dental prostheses?
When processing prostheses, the combination of chemistry and mechanics is key. While the fluid handles disinfection and brightening, fine cleaning needles or ultrasonic waves also reach deep porosities in the material. After cleaning, the objects must be thoroughly rinsed under running water.
