Whether coarse investment material residue after casting or the finest oxide layer before coating — REITEL's sandblasting devices are designed to treat surfaces precisely and in a manner appropriate to the material. With the SANDURET series for precision blasting and the SANDUBLAST series for coarse recirculating blasting, REITEL covers the full spectrum of surface processing, from gentle fine blasting with 25 µm through to powerful cleaning with up to 250 µm grit size and 6 bar working pressure.

All devices are handcrafted in robust stainless steel, feature genuine leather hand ports, bright LED lighting, and a safety glass panel with replaceable protective film. Long-lasting tungsten carbide nozzles, heated chambers for consistent blast flow, and the proven REITEL quick-stop ensure efficient and economical operation.

Micro Fine Blasting and Recirculating Blasting from a Single Source

The SANDURET series is available as a micro fine blaster with one to four chambers. Multiple blasting media in different grit sizes can be kept ready simultaneously and deployed as needed. Models with the suffix S feature an integrated drawer for quick disposal of excess blasting material. The SANDUBLAST series operates on the recirculating principle: blasting media is collected at the base of the device and reused, significantly reducing material consumption during coarse blasting work. As a combination of recirculating and micro fine blasting, the SANDUBLAST is also available with two or three chambers.

The right solution for every need

Dental Laboratory

In the dental laboratory, sandblasting devices accompany the entire workflow from casting through to final surface preparation. After burnout and cooling, casting residues and investment material are efficiently divested using the SANDUBLAST. For fine processing, the SANDURET series takes over: oxide layers are removed, surfaces are roughened for veneering, or ceramic surfaces are gently matted with fine grit sizes. In the CAD/CAM workflow, the SANDURET devices are equally suited for the post-processing of milled restorations. The SANDURET EASY offers a compact entry point with a single chamber for laboratories with standardised workflows. Those wishing to keep several materials or grit sizes ready simultaneously can choose from models with two, three, or four chambers, each also available with a drawer (S).

Industry

In industrial manufacturing, sandblasting devices are used wherever surfaces need to be cleaned, deburred, roughened, or freed from coating residues. The SANDURET series allows precise adaptation to different material requirements through the free choice of blasting media and grit size — from sensitive surfaces through to hard metal alloys. The SANDUBLAST, with its recirculating principle, efficiently handles large-area and media-intensive blasting tasks where economical use of blasting material is critical. Custom solutions for specific requirements can be realised on request at the manufactory in Bad Essen.

Jewelry

In jewelry manufacturing, surface processing after casting is a decisive step on the way to the finished piece. Oxide layers, casting residues, and irregularities must be removed without damaging the delicate workpiece. The SANDURET series works with grit sizes from 25 µm, making it suitable for the gentle processing of sensitive precious metal surfaces and filigree settings. The heated chambers prevent the blasting media from clumping and guarantee a consistent blast flow even with fine nozzles. The REITEL quick-stop protects the material from excessive abrasion while simultaneously saving valuable blasting media.

Restoration

In restoration work, sensitive historical materials meet stubborn contaminants that must be removed gently and in a controlled manner. The SANDURET series enables precise dosing of material removal through the free choice of blasting media and grit size, allowing patina, oxide layers, or soiling to be selectively removed without affecting the underlying material. The adjustable working pressure of 0.5 to 6 bar and operation via foot pedal allow for delicate and controlled work. For coarser cleaning tasks on larger surfaces, the SANDUBLAST is available as a recirculating blaster.

FAQ – Sandblaster from REITEL

What is the fundamental difference between the SANDURET series and the SANDUBLAST series?
The SANDURET devices are micro fine blasters for targeted precision work. They feature one to four heated chambers that can be filled with various blasting media and grit sizes from 25 to 250 µm. The SANDUBLAST is a recirculating blaster that collects blasting media at the base of the device and reuses it multiple times. It is particularly suited for coarse blasting tasks such as divesting after casting. As a combination of recirculating and micro fine blaster, the SANDUBLAST is also available with two or three chambers.
What does the "S" mean in the SANDURET model names?
The S stands for drawer (Schublade). SANDURET models with the S suffix feature an integrated drawer that allows excess blasting media to be quickly and cleanly removed from the chamber after use. This simplifies media changes and keeps the blasting chamber clean. All S models are otherwise identical in construction to the corresponding standard models.
Who is the SANDURET EASY suited for?
The SANDURET EASY is the compact entry point into the SANDURET series, featuring a single blasting chamber. It is particularly suited for laboratories and users who predominantly work with one blasting medium and need a space-saving, straightforward blaster. Those who regularly switch between different blasting media or grit sizes should opt for the models with two, three, or four chambers.
Why are the chambers of the SANDURET devices heated?
Heating the blasting chambers prevents the blasting media from clumping due to moisture or clogging the nozzles. Particularly with fine grit sizes from 25 µm, a consistent blast flow is essential for precise and reproducible results. The heating ensures that the device is immediately ready for use even after periods of inactivity.
Which blasting media does REITEL recommend and what is the difference?
REITEL offers its own blasting media in two categories. REITEL GLANZ is a glass bead blasting medium for gentle matting and gloss finishing of sensitive surfaces such as ceramic or precious metal, available in 50 and 125 µm. REITEL KORUND is a corundum blasting medium for removing oxide layers and roughening surfaces prior to coating, available in 50, 110, and 250 µm. Both blasting media are available in 10 kg and 25 kg containers.
How is unnecessary loss of blasting media prevented?
The SANDURET devices feature the REITEL quick-stop, which immediately interrupts the blast stream as soon as the foot pedal is released. This ensures no blasting media is wasted when repositioning a workpiece or pausing work. With the SANDUBLAST, the recirculating principle allows the blasting media to be used multiple times, significantly reducing consumption during coarse blasting tasks.
