Precise heat for optimal material properties

Headerbild Produkte Tempering

In dental manufacturing and many other technical fields, precise temperature control is crucial to the quality of the final product. REITEL's temperature control devices provide a constant and reliable heat supply for the optimal processing of materials such as waxes, plastics, or duplicating compounds.

Through precise regulation, material stresses are avoided and flow properties are set exactly as required by each individual work step. The robust stainless steel construction and intuitive operation ensure process reliability and long-lasting performance in daily use.

Consistency and Efficiency

Our devices are characterized by uniform heat distribution that prevents localized overheating. This protects the sensitive components of the materials used and guarantees reproducible results. Whether for melting, keeping warm, or targeted cooling phases — REITEL temperature control solutions integrate seamlessly into any professional workflow.

The right solution for every need

Dental Laboratory

In dental technology, precise temperature control is the fundamental prerequisite for accurate fit. The devices are primarily used for liquefying and keeping duplicating gels at temperature, or for the precise processing of modelling waxes. A constant temperature prevents overheating of the material, protects its sensitive components, and ensures that the compounds can be processed without shrinkage or bubble formation.

Dental Practice

In the practice, temperature control devices are used to bring materials such as hydrocolloids or thermoplastic impression compounds to their ideal application temperature. Preheating composites for improved flowability or warming anaesthetics to body temperature are also among the areas of application. This not only enhances processing quality but also increases patient comfort during treatment.

Industry

In industrial environments, the devices are used for melting and maintaining technical waxes, adhesives, or specialist plastics at a constant temperature. In workshops and prototype manufacturing, they enable precise control over the viscosity of casting compounds. The robust stainless steel construction ensures accurate heat distribution even under demanding conditions — essential for reproducible results in production.

FAQ – Tempering from REITEL

Which materials can be temperature-controlled with the THERMORET?
The device is a versatile all-rounder for pre-tempering anaesthetics (cartridges), syringes, irrigation solutions (e.g. sodium chloride), registration waxes, and composites. Heating makes viscous composites more flowable and allows them to be processed significantly more homogeneously, increasing precision during restorative treatment.
How is the material block of the THERMORET constructed?
The solid aluminium block features recesses of varying sizes (hole diameters: 0.8 / 1.3 / 1.6 / 2.1 cm), precisely matched to common syringe sizes and cartridges. As aluminium conducts heat exceptionally well, uniform and consistent temperature control of the contents is guaranteed.
Does the THERMORET also feature a water bath?
Yes, a matching stainless steel box with a capacity of approximately 0.8 litres is included in the delivery. It can be filled with water to uniformly heat wax wafers, wax plates, or other thermoplastic materials. This eliminates the need for a separate, bulky water bath at the workstation.
What temperature range does the device operate in?
The temperature can be adjusted to the exact degree via a digital display. The working range extends from room temperature up to a maximum of 70 °C. This covers the full spectrum from body-temperature anaesthetic preparation through to the softening of hard registration waxes.
How does the THERMORET contribute to patient comfort?
By pre-tempering anaesthetics and instruments to body temperature, the "temperature shock" during application is minimised. Patients find the administration of warmed solutions noticeably more comfortable, which is particularly beneficial in the sensitive field of dentistry and directly improves patient satisfaction.
How easy is the device to maintain in everyday practice?
The housing is made from the high-quality stainless steel characteristic of REITEL, which is extremely robust and easy to disinfect. The stainless steel box for the water bath is removable and can be cleaned separately. With a footprint of just 22 x 23 cm, the device also fits on any instrument table or laboratory cabinet.
